Impact

Impact

GREEN-LOOP actively contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by ensuring that its Research and Innovation (R&I) results benefit society. The integration of strategies such as gender and sex considerations throughout the research process, in the creation of scientific knowledge, and within the science value system promotes inclusivity and diversity in R&I outcomes.

Scientific Impact

GREEN-LOOP represents a forum for fruitful discussions, debates, and scientific efforts.

To engage diverse audiences, GREEN-LOOP ensures open access to deposited publications through repositories, making bibliographic metadata readily available. This approach enhances efficiency, transparency, and responsiveness to societal challenges, aligning with the European Commission’s objectives on open science.

To amplify impact, the Dissemination & Communication plan outlines strategies for making project results accessible to both EU industries and academia.

Moreover, our Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) demonstrate the commitment of GREEN-LOOP partners to disseminating knowledge and engaging society in future Research and Innovation (R&I) endeavors.

Societal Impact

GREEN-LOOP supports several EU policy priorities under the Green Deal such as Clean Energy, Sustainable Industry, and Eliminating Pollution (fully integrated, interconnected and digitalised EU energy market, development strategies and business models). This project aims also to contribute to Circular Economy Action Plan and Blue Economy.

Additionally, GREEN-LOOP engages stakeholders, end-users, and citizens in the co-creation of R&I content through its Communication Plan. By involving diverse perspectives and voices, the project aims to maximize the societal impact of its activities and outcomes.

Economic & Technological Impact

GREEN-LOOP has a relevant market potential, which is characterised by growing until 2025-2030 between 12% – 50%.

On the other hand, the project contributes to create more and better jobs, by making its R&I results work for society as explained before and providing trainings & social engagement.
